Our immediate goal is to outfit a machine shop sufficient for HRA member teams to fabricate a robot for the competition season which kicks off January 5 2019.
This leads to the ambitious goal of having a minimal working machine shop in place by December 2018, in order to get a clear picture of our manufacturing processes before the season begins.
A detailed list of tools to be purchased is coming soon for those wishing to make in-kind donations. However, direct monetary donations are the most efficient expression of your concern and generosity.
The Skunk Works Robotics Booster Club is managing these initial fundraising efforts. All funds collected here will be earmarked for exclusive use in the Highline Robotics Alliance Machine Shop Fund to outfit the facility and benefit all HRA teams.
Donations are tax deductible: the Skunk Works Robotics Booster Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity (EIN 81-3818495).
